Me on Midtown Lunch

If you are stuck working in Midtown, Midtown Lunch is a must-read. The intrepid Zach navigates through Midtown's steel canyons on a constant quest to find the best in lunchtime options. You have to admire his dedication and even if you don't try every place he reviews, his blog inspires a sense of exploration and a determination to go beyond the deli salad bar.

Every Tuesday, he does a Q&A with a fellow Midtown luncher and today that Midtown luncher is yours truly. If you've ever asked yourself, "What's Homesick Texan's favorite Midtown burger?" or wondered how old I am, check it out.

Happy new year, Lisa! That was a fun profile...I didn't realize that you, too, were stuck in tourist central here in midtown. Goodburger just opened around the corner...I guess I'll have to give them a try....

Lisa,
I work on the border of Midtown and Gramercy... we should hit some of these spots sometime!

Congrats on the profile. You're more famous every day.

Backyard Chef--You should definitely give Goodburger a try, expensive but tasty. And Happy New Year to you, too!

Stephanie--Yes! Let's do lunch!

I love Zach's site- funny and always very informative. Unfortunately I work way down in the Financial District and am hoping one day someone starts a blog like his for someone like me. (I considered doing it, but I also live in the Financial District, so I pretty much eat at home every day...) Congratulations!!!

Kristen--Thanks!

Yvo--Zach's site is indeed a blast. Too bad you're not interested in starting a Financial District Lunch site--you'd be good at it!

I used to be a midtown luncher, many, many years ago, but I am pretty sure the places I remember are long gone. (Yes, it's true, I am even older than you.)
