Grandma’s peach cobbler
My grandma likes to remind me that she no longer cooks. “I don’t cook anymore,” she’ll say when we’re discussing what we’re going to eat. I always reply that it’s fine, as she has a family full of people who enjoy preparing food. At the age of 95, she’s lived a long life and has earned the right to sit back and simply enjoy what we share.
That said, she’s open to talking about her recipes. For instance, when I asked her one time how to make a peach cobbler, she said it . . .
