Party chocolate pie
My grandma has lived a long life, and as such, she has decided to retire from the kitchen. She’s still a gracious hostess, however, and whenever I visit she’ll ask if I want something to eat. Though she’ll also add, "Remember that I no longer cook, so someone else will have to make it.” I’ll laugh and assure her that will be just fine.
Indeed, I come from a large family of enthusiastic cooks, and there’s never any shortage of helping hands in the kitchen. One of these cooks is my uncle . . .
