Peach fruit spread
This year’s Texas peach crop was predicted to be sparse due to a lack of rain and freezing temperatures the past winter. The Texas peaches I’ve eaten this season have been extraordinarily sweet, though they also have been mushy.
Whether the textural issues are because of growth conditions or poor handling by the stores, I've been left with bowls of soft fruit. And if your fruit is too soft, you can do a few things, such as preparing a premium content, please consider purchasing a subscription, which starts as low as $25 a year. Each subscription helps support Homesick Texan and keep it running. (Here are some frequently asked questions about the subscriptions.)
Thank you for your consideration!
