Jalapeño strawberry jam
While I was smoking a pork belly up at Goldee’s BBQ recently, I asked one of the owners, Lane, how he liked to serve it once it was done. He mentioned a sauce made with jam. True to form, I asked him for the recipe.
As he was listing the ingredients, I asked how he made his jam. He confessed that the jam was not made from scratch. When I asked why, he shrugged and said he'd never made jam before. He thought it was complicated.
