Texas pulled pork queso
My cousin married a woman from Kansas City. We’ve become good friends and the other day when she was doing work in Marfa, she sent me a text discussing the local barbecue there. She enjoyed it, but as she’s from Kansas City, she said that she preferred her sauce to be more tangy and sweet.
Now, there are plenty who feel that Texas barbecue doesn’t require sauce. Usually, I also fall into this camp, but after years of not having an outdoor space, I’ve grown to appreciate what a flavorful sauce can do for a roasted . . .
