Table salsa, Dallas style
If you were to come to my house, you’d find in my refrigerator a pot of pinto beans, a stack of flour tortillas, a jar of pickled jalapeños with carrots, and a homemade salsa. There’d also be a bag of tortillas chips, though unlike everything else, I prefer to buy those already prepared.
These are my favorite foods, and while there is plenty of variation in my diet, these constant companions in my kitchen ensure that I can always whip up a terrific bean taco with a starter of chips and hot sauce . . .
