Jalapeño popper kolaches
My mom asked me what I’d been cooking lately and I said a lot of frozen pizza. She laughed because that’s not something I normally eat. Though frozen pizza has a comforting charm for me, plus it was interesting to explore what was available beyond the simple ones I ate when young.
Indeed, I tried a multitude of varieties. After a while, they all began to taste the same. Though HEB now offers Texan toppings on a fluffy Neapolitan crust, and my favorite of the bunch was the jalapeño popper pizza.
